I plan on spending this weekend re-arranging the furniture a few dozen times to determine the best rptv-speaker layout for the new house. I have a few ideas and have seen the Dolby site (and Polk and Atlantic Technology) but would appreciate suggestions and creative ideas from the HTF membership. The room has very high gambrel ceilings with archways above an alcove and the backdoor. The alcove contains the future cable/dtv jack. Here's the room layout (not to any scale): |-alcove-fireplace--door--| | | | | | | | | | | windowdoor | | ||--bar------ | | door foyer What I'm trying to fit into this space is a 53" RPTV and a 5.1 system using dipoles in the rear. I'm not in any position to purchase a new set of speakers. Any thoughts?
