Ok, I have an RCA D3150 52" 4:3 TV...

just recently I have been noticing some weird colours appearing on the display:

On skin tones (mostly in scenes that are not overly bright), there appears to a yellow tinge. It looks sort of like a rash, but appears on several people in the movie.

Also, in black and white scenes, the tinge appears to be in green and red.

Currently I am using my Xbox to exhibit DVD's as my DVD player's remote is on the fritz, and I haven't had a chance to get a new one...

I have never noticed this on my Hitachi DVD player before.

Is it a problem with the XBOX, Cabling, or my display?

Any input owuld be appreciated... THanks

Can't you operate the Hitachi player via the front panel? Why not do that and see what happens. The game consoles are not the best DVD players around.

Just put the same DVD I noticed this problem on into my Hitachi, and went to a chapter where it was more evident.

There was no evidence of this problem at all...

It must've been either the Xbox, or the Xbox cables...

I was just using the Xbox out of convienence (I didn't want to get up to use the front panel)

Is it just me, or does DVD player makers provide the crappiest remotes?

Anyways, thnx...

Mark
