Okay I just bought this reciever but have a couple questions for you. It is a 6.1 reciever but have several spots for the sixth speaker aproximately where do you think it would go? (can give more info tomorrow right now iam in my room). Also It is a 450 watt reciever but my sub is going to be 150 watt does this mean the sub will not be used to its full potential?

As far as i know a 150 W sub should be a powered not passive sub meaning ti will get its power from its own amp, not from the receiver.

as far as placement goes try a few things and see what you like best. thats the best advice anyone can give you, well besides the obvious put it behind where you sit.
