Hello,
I have a RXV2200 and it's been working great for a while. I have all Polk Audio speakers except for the SVS 2039 Sub and a Carver 2channel amp running in Mono. It's always worked great until a month ago I went to use it and when selecting either different sound modes, or selecting different devices (cd,dvd,tuner) from the remote the sub makes a loud popping sound. I hear the tuner reset itself and then it's fine. It only does this when I make changes on the remote. Now if I disconnect the sub from the receiver (rca wire)it doesn't pop anymore. I've used a different RCA from the sub out to the amp and have the same problem. If I don't change anything on the remote, performance is great. Just makes me cringe when I hear the big thump and the receiver reset. Has anyone had any similiar problems ?
