Well I don't know what you're trying to do with it but please understand the receiver is about 20 years old. You might want to consider that seeing as it doesn't even have HDMI.

Not everyone needs it to have hdmi. Its just for the audio and has been working faultless for years untill one day.
Not wanting to replace as new ones are mega expensive and its only the LSB channel thats causing issue

That’s certainly understandable. It shouldn’t be hard to find something affordable to meet your needs from Craigslist or at a local pawn shop. Personally, I hardly ever by new gear.

Not helpfull
It’s not what you want to hear. But it is helpful. Your 20 year old AVR is dying from electronics failure. If John says it’s dead and best to replace than attempt repair, it’s advice I’d give real thought to.

Or, since 6 ohm works, use it in 6 ohm mode until that dies.

Can’t help but agree with Dave. Repairs to electronics are not cheap. And at its age, there’s a very good chance that whatever parts are needed to make the repair are no longer available.

What speakers are you using and has anything changed?
I don't know what this means, so maybe I'm missing something, "Now. All output stages have been replaced."
