I'm having audio/video sync problems running my Samsung set-tp box through my Yamaha RX-V1500 receiver. Audio is always a slpit second behind. I was advised to adjust the audio delay settings in my receiver but can't find anything in the owner's manual about it.

Anyone familiar with the Yamaha that can help?

    Thanks.

Have you checked this with a DVD? If the cable box is the only place you have the problem, then something is wrong with it.

DVD's are fine, DirectTV is fine, and cable is fine. The problem only occurs with my HD set-top box. I will "head in that direction" with my troubleshooting.

    Thanks for the reply.

I have that amp also. It's best if you connect a video cable from the back of the receiver (monitor out) to the input of a video source on the T.V. Once you do this push menu to the NE of the cursor bars on the Yamaha remote. There is Auto setup and Basic setup. Choose basic setup and scroll around, you should be able to find a delay but I don't know exactly how to get there.
