I want to create a "Midnight Movie" button on my RAV 2000 remote. I have the extended I/R codes for Home Memory A, B, etc... But how do I tell the receiver that I want a certain configuration to be Home Memory A?

And what is the purpose of the Bank and Recall functions?

I've tinkered with this a bit. I never have fully figured out what the Bank and Mem buttons do. Recall recalls the settings for that bank, as one would expect. I think you use Mem to save the current settings in that bank. Have you tried searching at Remote Central? The last time I asked about it I got some answers, but nothing to explain the existence of those two buttons when it would seem one would do just fine.
