    Hi everyone,

I got a question. What is the difference between HTR and RX-V series?

oh and what are good ceiling mount rear speakers? or should they be bookshelf?

    Thanx.

    Rob

btw, are home theater speakers good for karaoke?

In regards to home theater speakers being good for karaoke...man what a question! I'd say it "could" be done, but if it was me I'd want some beefy speakers for the job (maybe horns or more rugged tweeters like Cerwin Vegas or something).

As far as Yamaha, yeah that article sums it up pretty well. Basically the same unit. Get the one with the better price/store warranty. Usually the HTR will be at more "chain" type stores and often with a lower, but fixed price. The RX is usually at more A/V focused or "botique" stores and will often have a higher price, but these stores often offer better service and/or bargining ability on price.

    Hope this helps.
