Yamaha HTR5250 Wont Do Sound (pink noise) check (1 Viewer)

My reciever will not do the sound check. All other functions perform well. It always worked fine in the past. Any suggestions?

Sorry. Mike. No suggestions. My 5630 requires two buttons on the remote to activate the test tones. But I *assume* if yours is similar that you already know that.

Coincidentally (and completely off topic), it isn't "pink" noise. At least on the 5630. It's some narrow band of noise centered @ 1K Hz. Unless the definition of "pink noise" has changed. Time to check the glossary again...

Thanks,for the correction Stephen. I guess I will just use the Avia Disc to set up sound.
