Yamaha 5460 question (1 Viewer)

Can anyone tell me if I can use this reciever as a pre amp?

I hope there is a way.... but as far as I can see it doesn't look too promising.

Maybe someone can show me a work around.

um not that I know of, it dosen't have pre-outs so I don't think you can.

I have the RXV-620 which is the same as the 5460 and it does not have pre-outs. So no you cannot use it as a preamp. :frowning:

I was hoping I could save a few dollars for awhile and use the 5460 for a pre.

Any sugestions on fairly decent used pre amp models.

My HT is not getting a good WAF....must keep a low budget profile.
