Yamaha 1400 and 5.1 input bass management (1 Viewer)

Hi all,
I downloaded the manual for the new yahaha receivers but I can't find any information on bass management for the 5.1 inputs. Will this receiver manage bass for dvd-A or sacd? plus does the mic system work using that input also? Will is calibrate the sound for all inputs/soundfields or just one at a time?

I believe you setup the bass management through your DVD-A or SACD player.

The Yamaha does not perform any bass management on the 5.1 analog inputs, nor does it use the YPAO settings for them either. Sound goes straight from the inputs to the amps without any additional processing. The theory is so that it does not degrade the signal of the hi-rez formats.
Any bass management has to be performed by the player.
