Campos never played FOR America, but he did play IN America for a couple of MLS teams at the end of his career. But he was always, always, the starting goalie for the Mexico teams, and for about 8 years or so considered one of the best goalies in the world.

If he didn't play for America, why did the guys, who hated America, dis Campos as well? Clearly I'm just not up on the finer points of Mexican soccer...
