HI, I have a monster cable subwoofer cable that came with a splitter and in the box it says to use it to connect it on the right and left input of the subwoofer to get better sound.
    Has anyone done this before?
Is it better to connect just the single cable or the cable with the splitter?
    Thanks.[IMG]

The only time you wud need the Y-cable is in case the sub goes into sleep-idle during programs (Auto-Off)

A Y-cable doubles the voltage into the sub amp, and adds about 3dB to the output, if not fine tuned. Whenever this is done, it's necessary to recalibrate the sub back down with your test tones and sound pressure level meter.
