I'm currently running a Panny DVD-XP50 into my Panny PT-47WX52. A strange thing is happening when I power down - either with the DVD on or at the generic "DVD-Audio/Video" screen. When I shut the XP50 off, for a split second, red and blue lines streak across the screen followed by a green "flash" - no gentle fade to black. The red and blue does not happen all the time but the green flash does. I have also tried an XP30 and had the same thing happen. I've tried the TVs 2nd set of component inputs and the same result. I'm using Belden/Canare component cables from bluejeans which I've had for about 9 months. I guess my next step will be to try another set of component cables. I was just curious if anyone else has experienced this and/or had any thoughts if this is something that should even concern me.

    Thanks in advance!

I think that it is your PT-47WX52 switching from 480p to 480i mode. My Mits WT-42311 does the same thing with my XP-30.
