I am seriously looking to get XM in my car very soon. What I am going to get is a Pioneer CD head unit, and mate that with the Pioneer XM tuner. I want the unit to look like a professional install.

I was thinking of getting the Delphi Ski-fi tuner to go with the head unit only for the advantage that I could listen to XM in my home.

My question is...if I buy the entire pioneer setup for my car, and the delphi ski-fi tuner for my home, would I have to pay the $9.99 subscription fee twice? I assume the subscription is based on the tuner you use.

    Any info would be great.

XM has a family plan that the second subscription would cost 6.99 as shown here.
