I notice a lot of people on this Forum use Xbox. Is there a reason for that?

Chris, I think there are two big reasons for that:

1. The Xbox is well-suited to exploiting the capabilities of home theaters.

2. The Xbox Live service generates a lot of posts, and not simply because it's new. Its design encourages users to think in terms of community. HTF -- another community -- lends itself to use as a forum to extend the XBL community's dialogue.

I hope this addresses your question. I'm not sure why there are posts describing why Xbox features are either 1) contributing to the likelihood of sub-standard games and possibly the decline of Western Civilization or 2) available elsewhere through some involved workaround.
