I thought my logitech xbox wireless controller (the newer version) was the best thing in the world, until it stopped working. The green led on the reciever just keeps blinking. The led on the controller blinks only when the reciever is not plugged in. I've tried all manner of battery swapping, unplugging and replugging, different port using, you name it. There was no "trauma" to either controller or receiver. Anybody ever have this happen? I tried logitech's woeful support site and they suggested I call them in California for help. Anyone have any other ideas before I do that. Thanks in advance.

Don't waste time online. Just call them. I've always found Logitech support to be excellent.
