Is it likely that Xbox software will be found less than there retail prices anytime soon? I am on Amazon's pre-order which is the Adrenaline Pak. Includes 3 games ($50/each) and extra controller and Xbox console. The price is $500. WOuld I be better off just waiting in line for a console itself for $300 and buying the game individually? I plan on mbuying all 3 games that were in the bundle. Just don't know if it's likely I could buy them for less than $49.99 once the Nov 15 launch hits.
Thanks.

Gregg,
You're not likely to find any of the software any cheaper than $49.99 at launch time...
That's pretty much standard price, and only occasionally someone runs a special on one title (ex: Best Buy and THPS3 for $39.99 this week)...

Near zero chance, I'm afraid. The only games that will receive discounts, if at all, will the be the 'second tier' ones that noone wants but the stores' bought loads of (or been forced to buy): e.g. Fantavision/Street Fighter EX on the PS2 launch.
Margins are so small on the hardware, the retailers need your software sales to make it worthwhile.
