I plan on running my XBox's S-Video connection through an iScan Plus v2 into my NEC LT150 projector. So basically, I will be line-doubling the XBox's S-Video ouput signal.

Will I see any kind of notable improvement if I choose to run the XBox directly into the projector via a progressive output instead?

    Thanks guys.

    Daniel-

I can't comment specifically on the Xbox, but when I made similar comparisons with my Dreamcast the 480p via VGA out from the Dreamcast was superior to the s-video/Iscan combo. I'm assuming it would be the same with the Xbox. But either will still be impressive on the big screen.

Thanks Jay. Any chance you could quantify the difference? Did you happen to take screen shots? Thanks again!
