Argonaut officially cans Malice

I believe IGN (and other sites) are jumping the gun on saying Malice is canned - it's definitely been dropped by Vivendi, but I believe Argonaut will be trying to sell it to another publisher, just like Carve (their XBL jet-ski game).

Orchid's definitely canned though.

Damn shame, the Argonaut guys (and girls!) are good folk.

I've checked with a mate at Argonaut, IGN are definitely wrong. Malice development is still continuing.

Brian, have you heard if Malice is any good? i know the developers arent gonna slate their own game but are they happy with what they've put together...

What i've seen from them in the past has generally been very good, i would imagine Vivendi didn't see it as a 'trendy' enough title compared to other games out there as i would assume it's a very good game technically speaking.

Considering all the money they spent on this thing already, I'd hope they would wait a bit before canning it.

It's not canned. Malice is still in development.
