XBox One to beat PS4 to store shelves? (1 Viewer)

According to rumors from Toys-R-Us, the XBox One will hit store shelves on 11/29. This would be a full 15 days before PS4 is rumored to hit Toys-R-Us shelves on 12/13.

Of course, neither company has announced official street dates, but will gamers itching pockets sway them to buy what is on the shelf first vs. religious reasons?

Who is going to rush to the store to buy either?

Nobody, everyone has already preordered from Amazon if they are smart.

Either way, both of mine will get little play until GTA5 is complete!

I would hope that no one would buy one over the other just because they would have had to wait an extra 14 days for something they will use for 5+ years. Now if it were 6 months or longer then I could see it because it is all vaporware until about 2 months before the release date.

Arguably, the consoles are extremely similar so a head start could help MS. That said, it is $100 more than a PS4, which could help Sony.

Ditto! I have both PS4 and XB1 coming from Amazon Prime and both emails say delivery expected Nov 27. As far as I know right now, that's when the first wave of pre-orders hit. Others may come a couple weeks later.
