My two cents...
The race for the console wars is for 2nd place. Worldwide.
I want both the GC & the XB to do well, so that more quality titles will keep coming our way.
If MS & the big N can stay in people's thoughts & minds - offer backwards compability, & be the 1st to market with something new to offer, then they have the chance to be the leader in this race.
IMHO, the main reasons that Sony is #1 now is that they came out to market 1st, & that Sega had dropped the ball before that.
IF Sega had no 32x...if they had started supporting Saturn properly...if they weren't so desperate for cash when the DC launched (due in part to their prior mishaps)...
AND if the Xbox had come out with Halo at the same time as the PS2...then this "war" would be a hell of a lot closer.
