Xbox key game decision (2 Viewers)

I was thinking about buying an Xbox system but I had just a couple of key questions about the games.
1. When is Metal Gear Solid 2 coming out and what will it have different than the PS2.
2. Capcom, are they bringing out any Resident Evil games?
3. When will Silent Hill 2 be released?
4. Do I have to pay to go on the internet with the Xbox or can I just connect with my Cable modem and access the xbox network and play others for free?
5. If NFL 2K2 is going to be available Dec 2 then why is there no pictures or anything released about it?

Ok I'll give this a shot.
1) There is no official release date for Metal Gear Solid X yet but there are many indications that it will be spring/summer 2002. The latest news says that it will be much more than just MGS2 dressed up.

4) Really good Question, No official answer yet looks like Microsoft is going to host all of the servers. You'll most likely only pay to play the MMORPGs, the rest should be free. Link Removed

I think he was asking about Sega Sports NFL2K2 and not NFL Fever (which is released launch day, not in December).
Sega could just be keeping it under wraps until after the DC version ships. Sega's Xbox site says details soon, so I guess details will be coming soon.

1) From what I have heard, MGSX is going to be some sort of MGS/MGS2 hybrid. Whether this means an extra DVD (a la RE:CV X for PS2) that explains the past games or some bonus levels I don't know.
2) Capcom has announced RE4 for PS2 and RE Zero for GCN. Thats all.
3) I think early next year.
4) I think MS is going to have a pay service where you pay a very low fee and then companies can ask for more money for use of their games. I would imagine that MS is supplying the servers, so the companies wouldn't have to charge a P2P (pay-to-play) charge unless they spent a LOT on the development.
5) Read above.
As for Square, they will probably port FFXI to the XB and GCN (they might not, no official word) because it is online. It is already for the PC and PS2. They have announced FFX and XII as being PS2 exclusive, so I doubt they will remake either for the XB since X was so successful already on the PS2 in just Japan.
