XBOX HD is 10GB afterall....

    It seems that the XBOX is indeed 10GB. First it was supposed to be 8 GB then later it was announced it would be 10 GB. But then about a month before launch it was announced it was back to being 8 GB. Even the XBOX.com site had it listed at 8GB.

    From what I heard, many of them have 10GB drives because MS had already ordered them (hence 50,000+ blocks). However, the extra 2GB is unavailable for use.

    Another site reports that some have Western Digital 8GB drives, while others have the 10GB Seagates.
    Slashdot article and HardOCP establish this fact.
