I was at Target today and they had some XBOX games on clearance. Azurik and NightCaster are $15, Dave Mira(?) and Cell Damage are $10. There was one other game for $15 something racing, but I can't remember the name. Just thought some folks might want a heads up.

Sorry if this should be in the bargains forum, I just thought in this case it might be more appropraite here.

Might have been Test Drive Off-Road Racing or whatever the title is. That was one of the only two XBox titles on sale at my local Target, and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2X was the other. I didn't check to see the prices, but they were separated from the other titles, hidden near the controllers rather than lumped in the locked case.

Dave Mirra is pretty good if you like that type of game.

Tony Hawk 2x is an absolute steal at that price. One of the best versions of the whole series. It's like a director's cut of Tony Hawk games.

I agree, I really enjoy Tony Hawk 2x. Except for a couple of terrible levels from Tony Hawk 1 [IMG] .
It allows you to use your own soundtrack, plus it's a definite graphical upgrade (I have the PSX version of Tony Hawk 2, blech)
Didn't like Mad Dash Racing, though. Didn't play it much either, so that's FWIW.

I presume Dave Mirra is a BMX game.. might be interesting to get a game based on bikes for the X-box... I've heard of some PS2 games based on cycling (road) for Europe but apparently it's wasn't released for the American shores.. damm, would be interesting for a bike freak like me.

The Dave Mirra game is pretty fun. I was pretty disappointed in the direction that THPS3 went (endless combos and hyper-speed), so Dave Mirra felt like it was more in the vein of THPS2. Nowhere near as good though, but then again, what is? [IMG]

I love Dave Mirra 2! I have it for GC, but I wish I had it for Xbox instead (stupid soundtrack...grumble). Then again, the 'Cube controller is better for games like this.

I picked THPS 2x and Test Drive Off Road. I might go back for NightCaster if the reviews are any good.

They also had a million PSOne and PS2 games, along with some N64 games. This was at the Target in Allen, a suburb of Dallas.

I went to the Target on Gandy in Tampa and they didn't have any $10 and $15 dollar games. I saw Azurik for $20 I believe and a few discounted to $30, but they didn't have the deals you guys are seeing.

Target seems to let the store decide what to cut. For instance just one day my local Target cut a bunch of DC titles down to $5, I got Capcom vs. SNK, Evolution, Tomb Raider($5 who cares how bad it is [IMG] ). Then I went to other Target on the opposite side of town and they had the same games for regular price and didn't know what I was talking about even after showing them my reciept. So I had them ring up Evolution and it rang up as $19.99...Target is weird.

I went and checked it out today. Dave Mira, sold out, but was priced @ $13. Tony Hawk 2x? $49.99. Right next to Tony Hawk 3, for $49.99. Weird.

If the price ends in a 4 (such as $9.94), that's the last markdown level, so make sure to grab it. [IMG]
