xbox former exclusive titles -- going to PS2 (1 Viewer)

I was at best buy last nite and notice xbox game flyers for their launch games and noticed that DOA3 "only on xbox" is not there. From what I've heard, DOA3 is no longer an exclusive title. it'll be coming out for PS2 as well.
Also -- Malice was once an exclusive title too, but no longer... It's funny, from the introduction of the xbox 'exclusives' titles are heading over to PS2 too. It sounds like developers doesn't have too much confident in MS.

Malice is a funny story. I know some of the devteam.
Basically, Microsoft never signed it as publisher, letting Argonaut hawk it around, and they never signed it as a true exclusive, letting Argonaut develop it for other platforms.

The creator of DOA3 doesn't really like the PS2. He stated that no system other than the Xbox could even handle DOA3. For this reason some thought the PS2 would never see the game. So if it does hit the PS2 it will be a toned down version.
I wonder by how much?

I've never quite understood - Just because a game is not exclusive does not mean that the best iteration of that game is not on any one machine. If other machines get DOA3, so what? There is no way they are going to be able to do the graphics justice. And isn't that really what we go for, all things being equal?
GameBoy Advance has Street Fighter 2, also.

Where have you heard DOA3 will be going to the PS2? Everything I have seen/read/heard has been exactly the opposite.

To tell the truth, I would rather play DoA3 on my PS2 than an XB because
1) I don't have to purchase an X-Box
2) I don't have to use the X-Box controller
3) I like the PS2 games more than the announced XB ones
That said, a PS2 version would be the best one for me. It would be stupid of them not to release it, even if it had slightly worse graphics.
VF4, Tekken 4, DoA3, we are too spoiled.
