XBox Controller? (1 Viewer)

Not having much luck with the standard xbox controller, anyone using a different one? I'm an old-timer and really prefer the directional pad for movement, appears I'm going to have to get used to the new joystick controls? Anyways, any suggestions would be appreciated.

The DPad on the XBox controller does the same thing as the left joystick on most games.

You may have to activate the d-pad in control options for some games. I noticed it was off by default in Dead or Alive 3.

I will look further into the setup options in each game, so far I cannot use the D-pad for any character movement in any game. The d-pad works fine in the menus, but no movement during gameplay.
