XBOX clicking noise? (1 Viewer)

Hi, I just opened up an early Christmas present an xbox! I hooked it up and I noticed that while the power is on with out a disc in it makes a very slight clicking noise every few seconds. Is this normal? Can anyone else tell me if theirs does this. You have to listen carefully it's not that loud of a noise. Thanks

I am not sure, but it could simply be the hard drive making the noise?

My system is basically silent.

After enjoying the system for the holidays I would think of replacing it. Hey for something that expensive it better be perfect!..
