Yes. I expect consoles to stay around for the foreseeable future because what other system can be used by a 3 year old and up by simply slipping a disc (or cartridge or memory stick, etc.). When parents are looking to get their kids a gaming platform, a PC is a PITA and becomes obsolete way too quickly. Far simpler and cheaper to get a console. UI (all of it hardware and software, not just the on-screen UI) is king and Nintendo proved it once again with the Wii.
