    How can I calculate or determine (no measuring) the X and Y dimensions of a 16:9 RPTV screen? of a 4:3 RPTV screen? (is there a formula?)

    For a 65" or 70" 16:9 RPTV what is the screen size?
    For a 57" 3:4 RPTV what is the screen size?

    Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

    Quick & easy ...

    for 16:9, the diagonal is 18.36 therefore ...
    width = [diag]*16/18.36
    height = [diag]*9/18.36

    for 4:3, the diagonal is 5.0 therefore ...
    width = [diag]*4/5
    height = [diag]*3/5
