If I don't get the PS2 for Christmas, I'll be buying it when FFX comes out. Not sure when I'd pick up the GCN. Defeinately by the time Zelda or Metroid come out for it.

Anyhow, XBox and Gamecube for me (which will put me over 30 distinct consoles), and no current plans PS2 for me. The only current/announced PS2 titles that are my cup of tea are coming out for the other consoles. Your mileage may vary, different people like different games. Not worth fighting over.

Final Fantasy X comes out a week or so after Christmas.
Don't remember if I posted, so here goes:
PS2- have one since launch day
GCN- want one on launch day but I'm willing to wait (though not too long)
XB- get it once there is that constant stream of good games, kind like this summer and fall have been for the PS2

I have been, let's call it "away" from the gaming console world for a while. The last one I have owned is the SNES. I had not expected to purchase a console anytime soon but DOA3 movies and screenshots just threw all of that out the window. I am now anxiously awaiting the release of the XBox to once again start playing the type of games I always liked to play : fighters
