X-Box 360 HD-DVD drive for 40% off (1 Viewer)

If you buy an X-box 360 at Hastings, they give you a coupon book. I normally wouldn't care about a coupon book, however it has two coupons in it for 40% off any video game accessory. I promptly ran back inside and asked if the HD-DVD drive would count as an accessory? The guy said it did, so I walked out with the HD-DVD "accessory" for just $129 after tax. That's not a bad deal at all. I'm not sure if it will work at all stores, but it worked here.

Also, if you are in the mood for some used games from Hastings, don't buy them with the system. The coupon book contains two coupons for Buy 1 Get 1 Free on all used games. Would have saved me some money if I had just waited.

Count me as officially on the HD-DVD bandwagon. Not a bad deal for the drive, the remote, and King Kong.
