Insofar as games are ported to it, like No Man’s Sky is rumored to be, then sure. But plug into a PC and be used as a Windows PC VR gaming headset? Never.

The other question for the presentation is how Apple presents AR and VR to an audience watching on normal flat displays?

Probably the same way meta and htc do. Flat 2d announce. Huge auditorium for testing and demo after.

Gotta say, Apple is really in tune with things people can use in iOS 17. This Standby feature is great as is Journal.
