Due to divorce I must sell these speakers, I am temporaraly living in a bedroom... Any way I am needing to downsize my speakers not looking to split up the set unless I don't get any interest and local pick up preferred. Here's what I have:

    All in beautiful rosewood

    Pair Diva Swan 6.1 mains
pair Diva Swan 2.1 rear/book shelf
    pair Diva Swan r3 dipole
single Diva Swan C3 center channel

I am missing the swan logo tags on the 6.1, one of the R3s has a few scratches on the back and holes for wall brackets that where installed also on the back out of sight, one of the 6.1 woofers is not working correctly so I am getting a new set of woofers for the 6.1's this week, other than those few things they are in great shape and sound great. I am looking to get $1300obo for the set and prefer local pick up only for now but could ship if buyer pays the S&H. Thanks

I'm talking all the speakers with the 4.1 but I keep the 6.1 and the ex is
being stubborn I will let you know hopefully tomorrow and I appreciate your
    patience

    Hi Jon,

Any update? Just to be clear, are you talking about all the speakers,
including the 4.1's, or just the surround setup?

    Thanks,
    Chris

I will be able to get those speakers tonight or tomorrow afternoon you can
come out and get them whenever you like as soon as they are here. Thanks for
    your patience!

    Jon,

What would you say to going ahead and letting me pick up the surrounds for
$700 and I'll give you the remaining $300 for the 4.1's when you are able to
get your hands on them? That's a good price on the 4.1's and you can be
    sure I'll follow through...

I can't get the ex to answer me on getting the speakers. I should have
brought them with me. I will try and call her again.

Did I lose you or what? I assume our agreement is still good. Correct?

The 4.1's are over at my ex wifes home (going through a divorce) I am trying
to get ahold of her to see if I can go over there and get them. I'll try and
    let you know asap.

I do have a pair of 4.1's I could add to the surrounds for $1k nice setup
let me know nothing wrong with any of these speakers. I'll keep the 6.1 or
    sell them later .
Oh yes the center has the two speakers and the tweeter on top.

    cshaw wrote:

Thanks Jon. Maybe we can come together on the surround setup. I know how
hard it is to take a loss on something. I just sold off a few thousand
dollars worth of RC helicopter and airplane stuff and took big losses on all
of it. It's too bad you don't have the Faux Black Cherry since that's what
I have to compare your prices against. I just don't need the Rosewood since
the speakers are going to be in a dark theater room all the time. Except
maybe the 2.1's, which I'm considering for the living room. I've been
driving myself crazy this morning thinking about this whole thing, which is
pretty normal for me. If I buy your surrounds for $700, that means I need
to buy the Rosewood 5.2's, for $270 more than I was going to spend on the
cheap veneer. Overall, I end up with a set of 2.1's, that I wouldn't have
had otherwise, for about what I was planning to spend. But, I lose the warranty on everything other than the 5.2's I would be buying new.

    Thanks,
    Chris

I will consider it, I the only thing wrong with the 6.1's is the one woofer
and Jon is sending me 4 new woofs. I am buying the new speakers from an
induvidual and he's wanting the cash, I would be willing to take $1200 for
the whole set if that would interest you. If not I will seriously consider
your offer of $700 for the surrounds. I may just keep everything

    cshaw wrote:

Hello again. After thinking about it, I just can't take the chance on
purchasing the 6.1's if they have a problem. Especially when I would
actually prefer 5.2's. If you decide, in the next couple days, that you are
willing to break up the set, I'm probably interested in the remaining
speakers. I'll offer you $700.00 cash for the C3, R3's and 2.1's, or my B&W
front soundstage plus $500 cash for the C3, R3's and 2.1's. I was planning
to buy the Faux Black Cherry, rather than the Rosewood, but this would still
save me a few bucks. Once you get the new drivers, you should be able to
sell the 6.1's pretty easy and would probably end up getting more overall.
Just to be clear, your C3 does have the midrange driver like in the current
    Swan 5.2 right?

I don't know how you're set up for bachelor stuff, but I have a good
lawnmower, vacuum cleaner and 19" TV I'm trying to sell and would love to
    make a deal.

    Thanks,
    Chris

yeah one of the woofers has a distorted sound so he is going to replace all
4 under warranty. If you are worried I understand maybe you should stick
with your original order. These where bought 3 years ago from AV123.com I'm
not sure about the transfer of warranty though. Tell you what I'll let em go
to you for $1250 if you decide to get them from me great deal considering
the 6.1 go for $1299 alone when new. Thanks for your interest

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm worried about what you say below regarding
the 6.1's not sounding right. Can you give me a little more detail? Is the
warranty transferable? Jon, at AudioInsider, probably won't be interested
in doing me any favors if I buy these from you. I have my name on a full
set of speakers in the next shipment he receives, but I'll cancel it if I
    can save some $$.

    Thanks,
    Chris

    Hello:

    Hi Jon,

What part of Fort Worth are you in? I might be interested in the full set,
though I really wanted a set of 5.2's with the midrange matching the center
channel. How does the C3 match up with the 6.1's in your opinion? I'm in
Flower Mound so I could pick them up pretty easy. Would you consider
    $1200.00 cash for the set?

    Thanks
    Chris

Chris, I live in XXXX. I am taking less than I
wanted to get for them already just for quick sale so I need to get $1300. I
am expecting a new woofer for one of the 6.1's it is not sounding right, I
believe they are sending me all new woofers for both 6.1 so they will be all
new. let me know thanks for your interest.

Yes buyer beware, notice I disclosed the woofer issue and am having a problem getting items from my ex wifes home during a bitter divorce how strange... Thanks Christopher, what he means to say is buyer beware seller is not having luck getting the replacement from Jon at Audio Insider or the 4.1s from my ex's home. I actually like them anyway so no problems with keeping them.

    Jon,

We came to an agreement on a price for the speaker setup. You have not come though with your end and I haven't heard from you for 10 days, despite 3 polite messages asking for an update. I can be understanding about your divorce. I can no longer be understanding about your lack of communication.

What I mean to say is that from my experience with you, you can not be counted on to hold up your end of a deal. It really doesn't matter that much to me either. Especially considering that your speakers are the old version from before all the improvements were made to the crossovers and the midrange was added to the center channel.

    Enjoy your speakers.

    Chris,

For what its worth...I have an older C3 & from what I remember, all older C3 models had the "dome" mid with the tweeter on top of the cabinet like the rest of the Diva line....sounds like you know what the new style C3 looks like.
I bought mine through av123 also....
They are great speakers by the way...I have the 5.1's(older floorstanding model without the "dome" mid).

    Joe
