WTB upconverting DVD player perfer componet out (1 Viewer)

I have broke the bank building my HT and now I realize I need an upconverting DVD player to get the best out of my projector. Would perfer one with HD componet out. Also looking for a really great deal.

The Oppo doesn't do upconversion over component. You're pretty limited in that aspect. I've got a Linkplayer2 which does upconvert over component plus is a networked DVD player. Would sell for $175 shipped. It has the updated Liteon DVD mod already done.

I have a Zenith DVB318 that is the march 2004 production models which can do 720p or 1080i upcoversion.

I will take $125 shipped in original box.

I have a Samsung 841 that can be firmware updated to pass 480p, 720p, or 1080i over component. These are selling new for $50 on E-Bay. I purchased an HDMI/DVI mechanical switcher from amazon for $45 though and it works perfect.

By the way, did you get your gear locally or over the net? I live in Winthrop, just south of Augusta, and have yet to find a decent store selling AV gear in the area...
