Hey everybody, I'm building a shiva sonotube, so I'm currently in the market for a amp to power it. Looking for somewhere in the neighborhood of 250-600 W (@ 4 ohm mono)... thinking about the PE plate amp, but would love a rack-type amp for looks... (or a used plate amp, if you're upgrading)
Anyone got something to sell me?[IMG]
(Would like to keep it around $250ish total (incl shipping etc)
you can also email me at [email protected]

    Hi David,
I've got a nice little PE# 300-800 150 watt amp. I know you wanted something a little more but this little sucker works great!!! I have used it for my SVS as well as my Tempest and haven't had any problems at all. Wayne J. of Speakerbuilder.net used it for his 12" DVC that is very similar to the shiva. I also disabled the Bass Boost on it already so it is all set. I can send graphs and pics.
You can read about it here:

    and here:

I'm now going for a 18" Malestrom with a BASH amp [IMG]
    Oh yah $75 & it's yours
    also:
    2 SVS drivers $80
    1 Tempest $125

    Hey David,
    I've got a TOA 924mkII hangin' around.
    http://web.toaelectronics.com/amp0002.asp
I've got the rack-mounting ears around here too.
It has the rca input module.
It's a heavy dude though. Might cost a bit to ship.
If it suits you, $150 plus shipping sound good?
    Dean
