Looking for the "Faces" CLV THX version of the entire Star Wars trilogy on laserdisc. Discs should be perfect, shelf wear on jackets is fine. I already have the Definitive Collection and SE, so I don't need those, thanks.
Payment via PayPal or c2it. Please e-mail me with your price.
    Thanks [IMG]

Yup, saw that one. Figured I'd get more attention with my own post.

I've been checking ebay. I think I might just sell my SE box set and use the money for the Faces set. God knows I never watch the SE anyway.

Yeah, the faces is definitly the ones to own. IMO, the only reasons to own the SE's is for the AC-3 Audio, and if you are a completionist who wants to own all the cuts of SW. I recently ordered a Definitive Box Set, and now Im debating if I want to keep my "faces" episode IV. Its the only "faces" episode the at I own, and I guess the Definitive edition uses the same transer/audio. I have heard that some copies of the Definitive edition have defects, so I want to wait until I check the Definitive Edition when it arrives. I bought it used online, and the description was simply "definitive, like new, watched once." It was pretty cheap, and I'm crossin my fingers that it is actually the definitive edition. If it shows up and is actually the faces trilogy, I wont be mad, because I want that too. Either way, I might I have an extra copy of Episode IV THX pretty soon. Im not sure if anyone is interested in just Episode IV, but I may sell it on HTF eventually.

I was able to get a set in excellent condition on ebay for $70 with Buy It Now option. She had just listed the auction when I saw it and jumped on them.
A great deal since at the same time they were going for $125 and I even saw one set up to $200.
Id say be patient and bookmark the LD page and keep looking.

Maybe you can get a deal like I did.Unless you dont care and dont mind spending over $100 theres quite a few auctioning now.

Jeremy I think the defect youre talking is in EBS. A few seconds are missing from early prints and was later corrected.

Yah the error with the Definitive Collection occurs on side 3 of ESB. If you see Leia welding, you have the correct version.
Alright...I'm off to watch Empire [IMG]

I have heard that some prints are missing a line from C3PO, so I wantt to check that out as well. If my definitive copy is error free, I will sell my faces ep. IV.
