I am looking to buy a quality PC of the Pentium III vintage. I prefer a manufactured PC vs. a home-built model, and it can be pretty basic.
Price is definitely the object with this purchase, since the system will be used solely by my children for their learning programs, games, tax preparation, etc.
    Minimum specifications:
PIII processor (500 Mhz or faster)
    128Mb RAM
    CD-ROM
    10Gb hard drive
    Windows ME
    Nice to have:
    CD-RW
    Windows XP
    Ethernet card
    Don't need:
    Monitor
    Keyboard
    Mouse
If you're buying a new PC this Christmas and want to unload your last-generation model, please feel free to send me an e-mail with your system's specifications and your asking price.

    I have an:
    athlon 500mhz
    MSI 6167 motherboard
    +++ many extras +++
I would sell it for a new computer, but this system has been so good to me... Everything is just too perfect to give up. I don't think I'll ever upgrade [IMG]

Bill -- How much are you willing to spend?

You can probably build a SOLID bare bones system for a pretty good price... maybe
