Ive got an HTS 3500 MKII I'll sell you for $250 plus shipping. Its still sealed in the brand new box. The only difference between the 3500 and the 5000 is that the 5000 has selectable outlets. Meaning you switch each outlet between timed, switched and unswitched whereas the 3500 is two dedicated timed outlets, two dedicated switched outlets and 6 dedicated unswitched outlets. Thats it!

Justin-

Thanks anyway, but to be honest the real reason I want the 5000 is simply for its looks. Any of them 2600-5100 would be more than adequate for my humble setup, I just like the 5000. Also I am hoping to find one for between 250-300 as they are selling new on ebay for 375, I figure that is a fair expectation for a used one. There have been several on audiogon in that pricerange, I just keep missing out.

Thanks again.
Matt

Matt, that's why I bought a 5000. The others would have worked fine but I'll be looking at it every day.:)
