I'm looking for a used Pioneer CLD laserdisc player. The catch is you need to be local to me (Virginia or Southern Maryland, or other in area).

I'm having bad luck with this whole buying LD items over e-bay thing (SW trilogy lost in mail, LD player broken).

    Hello,
I live in Gaithersburg, Md., just outside of D.C. I've got a 1990-91 vintage 201 which is as basic as it gets in LD. I have rarely used it and it has seen more duty through the years as a CD player than an LD. Unfortunately, NO dual-side play, NO S-video, NO digi-out. I run the video through my receiver and pipe the image from the S-video circuitry in my S-Vhs recorder. This has always given excellent results over the straight RCA route.
