I'm looking to buy a Audio Authority VGA -> Compenent converter box.
If you would like one of the RCA VHDC300 HDTV VGA/Component Video Adapter
I have one @ $69 shipped
Thanks. I can't find whether it can do the same things that the Audio Authority piece can: That is, the previous RCA transcoder fell short of offering one the ability to do 540p and 1080i in the combinations I am looking for.
The RCA will do both as that's what the RCA DTC outputs.
Both 540P and 1080i.
The RCA also has three adjustable timings settings to work with most displays.
Then I'm stumped as to what the limitation was... and don't think that whatever it was will matter to me... but I would like to figure it out before buying this.
I've got the RCA and I believe the only limitation of the RCA converter is that it won't do 480p (which isn't really a big loss)
Nathan,I don't remeber if I sent you a PM about this but I have a 9A60 that I am considering to sell for $100+shipping.
Please let me know if you are interested.
Over on the AVS Forum there seems to be a strong consensus that the AA box has better PQ than the RCA box... which may be what I was mis-remembering in terms of the RCA boxes limitations...
In any event, email send about the Audio Authority box, because the reports suggest that it will work better for me.
