Great review Matt, thanks!

I saw screencaps prior to purchasing the disc and, while the caps make it look quite good, the transfer truly needs to be seen in motion to appreciate how much it improves on the existing Elephant BD from France. It's really really gorgeous!

If you have Criterion Channel, this transfer has been streaming all month. Huuuuuge improvement.

But The Wind Cannot Read!

I've really been emotionally affected by the other movies I have on blu-ray by Sirk. I'm planning to pick up this one too, which I haven't ever seen, but I might wait for a sale.

PS The Wind Cries Mary...
