Writing a speech about OAR and I need some help (1 Viewer)

I am writing a speech preaching the benefits of OAR and I need help finding information. I have been to widescreen.com which is an excellent source, but I was hoping to find some books that might go into the history of why studios went to widescreen. Also, can anyone recommend other quality websites, preferrably with pictures showing the difference from OAR to Pan & Scam. Also any recommendations for movies that are available which are extreme examples of what you miss with P & S?I do greatly appreciate whatever assistance you guys can give me. Any other suggestions are also welcome.

Head on over to www.thedigitalbits.com Their widescreen section has some screen-shots, great diagrams, and I'm pretty sure they have some stuff about the history of widescreen there too.
