Wrinkles in a screen (1 Viewer)

Ok. I finally pulled the trigger on a Infocus X1. I managed to track down one of the last remaining new X1s in my area. A Circuit City had one for $799 so I drove 75 miles to buy it. And man, oh man... I'm so glad that I did. The quality of the image was impressive, even displayed on my wall. Of course, I am going to build a DIY screen, but I have an older 72" pull-down screen to tide me over for a bit.

Here's the question: The screen has some pretty severe wrinkles in. This may be a dumb question, but can they be "ironed out"? Any ideas?

first i would try just pulling down the screen and leaving it overnight to see if they will go away on there own.. past that i cant help you though.

Thanks for the info.... left it overnight with a weight tied to the pull handle..... didn't help much, they're pretty severe creases. Considering it was a free screen, I may try some alternative methods and see what happens. If I can't get them out, I'll probably end up using my wall until I can put something together.
