I was trying to get what was left of the sticker that Dreamworks put on all of the original Shreck DVDs and it ruined the case. Does anyone know of an e-mail address or phone number for Dreamworks so I can get a new case from them?

Can't you just put it in a different case? Blank cases are easily obtainable....

Isn't Shrek in a two-disc Amary case? I-Net doen't have any of those currently, and just about the only place I've seen them is Audio Video Supply, and personally wouldn't want to pay $1.99 + s/h to replace a case damaged because of security stickers....

The best sticker, glue, gunk, remover I've found is WD 40. I get those AOL cases in the mail all the time with stickers galore on them...spray a little WD on them and let it sit for a few minutes and the stickers come right off.

Nathan, I assumed I Net carried them, but out-of-stock items are not displayed on their DVD cases page...and just a little nitpick, the Audio Video Supply price isn't 'mine'....it's theirs and I mentioned I wouldn't want to buy any for that price. That's just the only place I've found that has them in stock.

When Shreak first came out, thre was a thread for this very thing. I also wrecked my case trying to get the damned annoying sticker off. I hate when they do that. Please use a glue that allows you to just peel the sticker off and the glue comes off with it. What's the deal with permanently bonding a dumb sticker directly to that plastic case?

All of the above mentioned ways to remove the sticker residue work. Another way is using regular tape and covering the residue then pulling it off. You will have to do this quite a lot but it works. The reason inetdvd does not currently have slim double cases in stock is because the manufacturer will not send them any. What ever the reason they can't get any more for 4 - 6 months.

Anyone have links for other sites that sell DVD cases, esp. double Amrays?

No problem, Nathan, I just don't want to endorse them since I've never used them. John, here's a few: I Net, CDRom2go, DV-Depot, CD4Sale, Sleeve City, and there's probably more....

They can't get any for 4-6 months because they're all spoken for for Christmas. The entire runs are dedicated to the pressing houses

The problem with Shrek is not the residue glue. The problem is you can't (at least on mine) get the sticker off the case without ruining the case. If I could have gotten the sticker off with residual glue left on the case, I have the chemicals to remove the glue with no problem.

I think Dreamworks should supply replacement cases free of charge to those of us who damaged their cases.
