What's with all the William Wyler Films being released in the next three months?

Besides the already announced "The Collector" (Columbia), "The Children's Hour" (MGM) and "Roman Holiday" (Paramount); I just saw an ad in Film Comment for 3 more classic Wyler films from Kino:

    "The Love Trap" (1929)
    "Counsellor at Law" (1933)
    "The Good Fairy" (1935)

    Street date was Oct. 15th.

Jeez, I still need to get the Classic German Horror Box Set that just came out from Kino, and now this.

It could just be karma, or it could have something to do with the Wyler centennial career retrospective that's making its way through art houses across the country. New prints of most of his films, including the ones you mentioned.

When is the MGM DVD of Wuthering Heights coming out again? Or is the street date yet to be announced?

    Thanks.

When I saw The Children's Hour was coming out, I added it to my wish list in DVD Profiler. Under audio/video it indicates the movie is full-frame.

This movie came out in 1961 (per DVD Profiler). Surely it was released as some sort of widescreen?

We'll have to wait and see what MGM do. Or not do, as the case might be...
