Greetings

Generally a tweakable unit with good results. The mylar mirror is considered to be very cheap though.

Well, I couldn't resist and I ordered one from Amazon.com for $999 after rebate ($1118 w/shipping). It looks like they improved it over last years model with a user defeatable SVM and other little things here and there.:emoji_thumbsup:

A 48 inch widescreen HDTV ready for $999 is costing me as much as my analog Sony WEGA 32 inch I purchased 3 years ago !!!....If anyone has any suggestions about this unit please let me know...thanks

I'd love to know as well cause this is the set I'm eyeing too.
Unfortunately it's now $2200 CDN. Unless someone can steer me to a Canadian retailer that is cheaper.

In my opinion I couldn't go wrong with a price like this. In an instore comparison, the extra cost of the Sony 46 inch was "unjustifiable" in my opinion, (although the picture was good).

I've had the TV since yesterday and with out getting to technical, here is my opinion after a setup with DVE :

DVD: AMAZING !!!... (discs used: Toystory and Monsters Inc)

DirecTV : Outstanding !!! (sporting events could be better)

Stretch Modes: Top Notch !! (no fat short men...:D ).
