Just finished cleaning out vast amounts of stored junk, and it seems some tenant abandoned an unopened box containing an Olim Rossi 860 home theater sound system.
A quick google reveals this was a circa 2009 parking lot scam - I'm trying to remember who was living in the in-law then, and - yep, that sounds about right.
It looks as if was never even opened.
Any chance that this thing might actually work?
Would it damage anything if I tried hooking up the bits?
... can't beat the price, but still nothing for nothing is still nothing.

Did you type the name of the product correctly, because my search shows nothing.

Basically all I find is the scam.
And I'm sure it's not worth thousands after it somehow dropped off the truck, but I'm wondering whether it is at all useful.
Or if anyone knows anything about it beyond the guys in the parking lot in a white van...

Yeah, it seems clear that there was this whole scam thing.
And, as I said, it makes sense in terms of who would have been here then.
But I was just curious about how bad they could actually be.
