Would JBL n24 timbre match the newer JBL E series center?? any thoughts?? (1 Viewer)

I'm limited on budget. Should have gotten the NSP set a few years back. GRRR. Nonetheless, I can still get the N24 surrounds from BHPHOTO ($69/pr), but no N Center. Do you think the E25 or 35 Center will match in sound likeness? I appreciate any follow up. Thanks.

I will take a stab at it since no one else has. I think they would timbre match quite well. Both have 3/4 inch titanium laminate tweeters that are either identical or very similar. I think it would be the closest thing you can get. By the way, I use N24's as surrounds and think they do a great job. I used them as mains for about a month when one of my S26's crossovers bit the dust, and they did well. I think that is a great price on those speakers
