I think this looks like the best celebrity poker yet. The first of four episodes starts tonight, 1/25, on the Travel Channel. I think we'll see some halfway decent competition, and hopefully have a few good laughs.

Up first: Jack Black, Drew Carey, Fred Savage, Steve Harris, Mimi Rogers, Aisha Tyler.

I'm rooting for Jack Black, but my pick to win is Mimi Rogers.

    Later on:

Episode 2: Lou Diamond Phillips, Fred Willard, Lolita Davidovich, Norm McDonald, Richard Karn, Camryn Manheim

Episode 3: Jennifer Tilly, Ming-Na, Joshua Morrow, James Woods, Robert Wuhl, Daniel Baldwin

Episode 4: Ben Affleck, Jon Favreau, Ed Asner, Mo Collins, Sharon Lawrence, Gary Busey

Hm, nobody watched? I guess the Golden Globes were too much competition.

It was pretty good. And my pick was right.

Caught it when it was down to Aisha, Fred and Mimi.

Wow did Fred have some great luck there. It was pretty entertaining to watch.

Hopefully I can catch the other episodes.

I watched it, and loved it. I agree Fred Savage is the luckiest SOB on the face of the earth. It was awesome. Aisha was so dumbfounded at the end with Savage getting so lucky. It was good stuff.

I watched it and loved it too. I thought the presentation and quality of poker were better than Bravos' Celebrity Poker Showdown. But I was dissapointed that WPT was so chintzy on prize money to the charities.
